Research activities in low frequency computational electromagnetics at Politecnico di Milano 报告摘要 An overview of the research activities in low frequency computational electromagnetics (CEM) carried out by the CEM group at Politecnico di Milano (http://www.cem.polimi.it/) will be given. More specifically, the seminar will deal with uncertainty quantification in CEM, high order surface impedance boundary conditions and boundary element magnetic field map reconstruction in accelerator magnets. 报告时间、地点 2017年8月29日下午15:00~15:40 电机会议室 报告人简历 Luca Di Rienzo received the M. S. degree (cum laude) and the Ph. D. degree in electrical engineering from Politecnico di Milano, in 1996 and 2001 respectively. From November 2000 to December 2004 he was research assistant with the Department of Electrical Engineering of Politecnico di Milano. Since 2005 he has been an assistant professor with the same department (now named Department of Electronics, Information, and Bioengineering) and he teaches basic circuit theory. From April 2015 he has been associate professor with the Department of Electronics, Information, and Bioengineering of Politecnico di Milano. The complete list of his publications can be found at http://dirienzo.faculty.polimi.it/. Research fields: At present, his research interests are in the field of Computational Electromagnetics (CEM) and include magnetic inverse problems, the boundary element method, surface impedance boundary conditions, and uncertainty quantification in CEM. He is a senior member of IEEE (EMC and Magnetics Societies) and a member of the International Compumag Society (ICS). |
